The Industrial Power and Controls Estimator role is primarily office-based in Rochester, NY, with regular visits to active construction and industrial facilities. Pay is $40–$60 per hour, plus participation in an annual bonus program and long-term incentive plan. Re:Build Optimation delivers engineered process equipment and automation from concept through fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The estimator develops field-informed cost estimates for industrial electrical construction and installation. Accurate takeoffs, scope validation, procurement planning, and coordination help teams plan safe, constructible projects and manage costs.

What you'll do

• Prepare estimates and takeoffs from electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and isometrics
• validate site conditions through walkthroughs
• coordinate with engineers, construction managers, tradespeople, vendors, and regulatory authorities
• plan procurement and delivery
• manage vendor quotes and subcontractor scopes
• account for installation methods, field constraints, and safety
• apply NEC/NFPA 70 and OSHA standards
• track schedules, labor, costs, assumptions, and revisions
• seek cost-efficiency and standardization improvements.
