What you'll do

• Clean patient rooms, exam areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• disinfect surfaces, fixtures, equipment, gurneys, and wheelchairs using approved agents and infection-control procedures
• replenish paper products, soap, and sanitizer
• vacuum, sweep, mop, polish floors, and dispose of waste according to standards
• clean windows, walls, furniture, and equipment
• launder skilled nursing facility resident items when laundry support is unavailable
• maintain supply rooms and report inventory needs
• follow safety, confidentiality, and infection-control policies
• support quality assurance and departmental improvement efforts.
