Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is onsite in clients’ homes in Beaufort, South Carolina. Pay is $15–$16 per hour. ComForCare Home Health Care - Hilton Head provides personalized in-home care to help clients live their best lives. The role exists to provide daily assistance and companionship to clients in their homes. By following individualized care plans, supporting daily activities, and reporting changes to supervisors, the PCA contributes to clients’ safety and well-being.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing
• provide companionship and emotional support
• help with light housekeeping and laundry
• assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs
• support mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• monitor and report changes in health or behavior
• provide medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
