The Infrastructure Supervisor/Manager role is onsite in Denver, CO. Compensation is $165,000–$188,000 per year. The role supports SM Energy’s corporate, cloud, data center, and field technology environments, enabling secure, scalable, and resilient business operations. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, this leader directs an infrastructure team and oversees service reliability across servers, storage, networking, cloud, databases, virtualization, collaboration, and backup and disaster recovery. The role also executes infrastructure roadmap priorities, supports compliance and continuity, and improves operational processes and performance.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop 8–10 infrastructure professionals
  • manage staffing, priorities, performance, and development
  • oversee daily infrastructure operations and critical incident resolution
  • maintain service reliability and standards
  • execute roadmap priorities
  • manage backup, disaster recovery, and recovery testing
  • oversee field and operational technology networking
  • support audits, compliance, vendors, budgets, metrics, and continuous improvement
  • maintain procedures and documentation
  • support secure infrastructure for AI initiatives.
