What you'll do

• Review assigned medical records for complete and accurate diagnoses and procedures
• initiate queries as needed
• work with providers and coders
• follow ACDIS, AAPC, and AHIMA guidelines
• protect patient confidentiality under HIPAA
• use client-required software
• collaborate with clients, coworkers, and management.
