Job overview

The Welder role is an onsite position located in Abilene, TX. Pay is $25-$28/hour, and this role supports the manufacturing department in the energy infrastructure industry. This role exists to fabricate and assemble structural steel and metal components. The welder will use various welding processes to ensure all components meet quality and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Perform welding using GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and/or SMAW (Stick) processes.
• Weld structural steel, plate steel, and fabricated components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and weld symbols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
