Senior Field Service Engineer

Job overview

The Senior Field Service Engineer role is onsite, based in Saint Paul, MN, with service work at client locations. Expected compensation is $130,000 to $150,000 per year, plus 5% bonus eligibility. The role supports WaterSurplus equipment services and reports to the Director of Operations for Rental & Service. The engineer installs, commissions, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains water treatment equipment while supporting reliable client service. The position also provides technical assistance for equipment refurbishment and trains field engineers and technicians to support successful equipment start-ups.

What you'll do

• Provide onsite and offsite installation, service, start-up, commissioning, testing, and training for water treatment equipment
• support timely start-ups and field project cost control
• assist with equipment refurbishments, build-outs, rental returns, and testing
• maintain and properly use tools, vehicles, and equipment
• follow safety programs and applicable OSHA requirements
• train Field Service Engineers and Technicians
• travel to client sites as required.
