What you'll do

• Originate, schedule, and supervise activity programming
• confer with the Director of Nursing about resident needs, limitations, progress, and special events
• encourage participation and document attendance and involvement
• summarize resident responses for team members
• recruit, instruct, and supervise approved volunteers and entertainers
• order and maintain activity supplies
• assist families with special events
• attend scheduled staff and department meetings
• operate within the department budget.
