Project Manager — Large Capital Quality

The Project Manager — Large Capital Quality position is onsite in Coopersville, MI or Webster, NY, with travel of up to 50% depending on location. The posting states a base pay range of $125,000–$140,000 per year. fairlife makes nutrition-rich dairy products, including ultra-filtered milk and nutrition shakes. Reporting to the Director of Operations Readiness and Execution, the project manager ensures quality workstreams are delivered for large capital projects. The role coordinates lab design and equipment, utilities, regulatory requirements, validation, product acceptance, budgets, timelines, and quality processes to support safe, compliant production.

What you'll do

• Partner with Quality and Operations on engineering designs, plans, and timelines
• lead quality lab and equipment design and utility requirements
• coordinate equipment installation, calibration, and testing
• manage validation, commissioning runs, and FDA filing with the Process Authority
• maintain budgets, timelines, and risk registers
• manage state inspections and equipment sealing
• coordinate product acceptance plans and external lab sampling
• develop quality-system training and process maps
• plan and conduct cleaning-in-place validations
• represent Quality in design stages to support food safety and quality standards.
