Job overview

The Synthetics Fabricator role is an onsite, full-time position in Charlotte, NC, paying $21–$22 per hour. Ashley Sling provides rigging and below-the-hook services, and this role produces assemblies used across industries. The fabricator makes and assembles lifting and rigging products to customer requirements and engineering specifications. Inspection, equipment upkeep, and inventory management help ensure products meet quality standards and are available for customer orders.

What you'll do

• Fabricate and assemble lifting and rigging products
• interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• inspect finished products
• maintain and repair fabrication equipment and tools
• manage raw-material and finished-product inventory
• calculate wire-rope cut lengths and fitting requirements
• operate swaging and proof-testing machines and forklifts after training
• label products
• report defective materials or products
• maintain an organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
