Enterprise Architect — Microsoft Focus

The Enterprise Architect role is hybrid in Chicago, IL, with three days onsite in the Loop and two days working from home. Compensation is not specified. The role is the first Enterprise Architect hire for a newly formed Enterprise Architecture team during a period of business transformation. The architect establishes target-state architecture and standards for the Microsoft productivity estate and leads Copilot architecture and enablement, helping the organization improve its Microsoft environment and build an enterprise architecture foundation.

What you'll do

• Own target-state architecture and standards for Microsoft productivity tools
• architect SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 applications
• lead deployment and remediation of the Microsoft stack
• configure Entra and tenant administration
• establish Purview architecture with Information Security and Information Governance
• drive Copilot readiness, adoption guardrails, and agent governance
• architect Microsoft Foundry and define governance for Fabric, Power BI, and Power Platform
• partner with Microsoft engineering and internal stakeholders
• mentor administrators and engineers.
