The CNC Mill Machinist — 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities role is onsite in Castle Hayne, NC. Compensation is $26–$40 per hour based on experience, with consistent 40–50 hour work weeks and overtime available. Master Machining has served clients for more than 40 years and is expanding with new machines and long-term contracts. The machinist programs, sets up, and operates CNC milling machines to produce precision parts that meet print specifications and tight tolerances. The work contributes to the company’s quality and customer satisfaction through accurate machining, inspection, and collaboration toward production goals.

What you'll do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines
• verify parts against print specifications using precision measuring instruments
• read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and technical drawings
• perform routine machine maintenance and tool adjustments
• load and indicate parts to fixtures
• monitor tool wear and replace tools and inserts as needed
• collaborate with the team to meet production goals and ensure quality output.
