The accountant maintains financial records, supports financial statement preparation, reconciliations, closing activities, audits, and tax returns, and responds to client accounting inquiries. The work helps provide accurate financial information and meet client and regulatory needs.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain financial records and supporting schedules
• assist with GAAP financial statements
• perform bank and account reconciliations and general ledger analysis
• prepare journal entries and closing activities
• assist with audits and tax returns
• review invoices and expense reports
• analyze financial data
• prepare reports
• respond to client inquiries
• maintain client files
• participate in client meetings.
