The Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES) Systems Administrator role is onsite at Raven Rock Mountain Complex in Blue Ridge Summit, PA, and is full-time, normally on dayshift. The One 23 Group supports government, intelligence community, and federal civilian clients; this position serves the Joint Staff Support Center Information Technology Support Services contract. The administrator maintains the hardware and software supporting the Site-R NPES server and client baseline and provides Tier I/II/III operations support. The work sustains availability and operational readiness of mission-critical systems through administration, troubleshooting, recovery, patching, documentation, configuration management, and cybersecurity compliance.

What you'll do

• Administer and sustain production, test, and development NPES systems
• provide Tier I/II/III technical support, incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and escalation
• maintain Windows servers and classified clients, with UNIX/Linux knowledge applied when needed
• perform patching, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity activities
• manage backup, recovery, storage, and continuity operations
• support virtualization and enterprise management tools including MECM and DNS
• support configuration, change, release, and testing activities
• maintain technical documentation
• coordinate with government and technical stakeholders
• maintain system and mission readiness.

Why this role

Requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, high school diploma or equivalent, at least 10 years of relevant IT experience, and current DoD IAT Level II certification or applicable DoD 8140 equivalent. Full-time work is at least 40 hours weekly; mission needs may require work outside normal hours or beyond the standard workweek. Limited travel may be required.
