The Certified Medical Assistant – Pediatrics role is onsite in Denton, MD, with pay of $19.14–$24.88 per hour. The position supports Choptank Community Health System’s healthcare delivery team and reports to the Medical Clinical Care Director. The assistant supports patient care by collecting health information, preparing patients for clinicians, assisting with delegated procedures, and maintaining accurate records. The role also helps keep exam rooms safe and hygienic and coordinates with the care team on patient needs.

What you'll do

• Collect patient intake information and vital signs
• document in the electronic health record
• prepare patients for visits
• assist with delegated care and procedures, including venipuncture, injections, EKGs, nebulizer treatments, and specimen collection
• perform basic in-house tests
• clean and stock exam rooms
• communicate patient concerns to the care team
• assist with appointments and referrals
• travel to other CCHS sites as required.
