The Lead Direct Support Professional – Second Shift, Rotating Weekends role is onsite in Spartanburg, SC. Pay is $19.01 per hour plus a weekend shift differential, with a $1,250 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. The Charles Lea Center supports people with disabilities in living full, independent lives. This lead role combines direct support with operational, training, and administrative assistance to help Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals deliver high-quality services. Duties include mentoring and training staff, supporting daily living and health needs, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure program operations meet service and compliance standards.

What you'll do

• Provide day-to-day direct support, including transportation, meal preparation, medical support, and daily living skills. Mentor and train employees
• support DSP operations, active treatment, and skill development. Assist with quality assurance audits, documentation, scheduling and coverage, medication administration and monitoring, and communication between shifts. Support people’s needs and preferences and help maintain compliance with licensing and support standards.
