Staff Accountant

Job overview

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Lehi, UT, with compensation of $55,000–$65,000 per year. The position supports AG SOLUTIONS LLC’s construction accounting team. The accountant supports daily financial operations and project cost tracking by processing invoices, maintaining accounting records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with billing and period-end close. Accurate job-cost information and communication with Project Managers help the team monitor project expenses and reporting.

What you'll do

• Process vendor invoices and verify job number and cost code assignments
• track construction project costs and expenses
• assist with accounts payable and receivable
• prepare customer invoices and progress billings
• reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
• prepare and post journal entries
• assist with month-end and year-end closing
• review job costs and assist with budget-to-actual reporting
• maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
• communicate with Project Managers about job costs, invoices, and billing questions
• assist with other accounting duties as needed.

Why this role
