Machine Shop Assistant, Weekend Shift

The Machine Shop Assistant role is onsite in Clearwater, FL, with pay of $20 per hour. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with bonus hours when the complete shift is worked. The role supports the machine shop’s manufacturing process at Zaniboni Lighting. The assistant prepares metal parts at different machining stages so they are ready for assembly. Work includes cleaning, deburring, polishing, grinding, organizing the shop, and following safety rules while handling materials and tools.

• Clean metal parts

• grind material or smooth welds and surfaces
• maintain tools and work areas
• help organize machine shop and welding areas
• load and unload aluminum parts
• clean parts for machining
• follow safety rules.
