Building Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Building Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Macomb County, MI, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. The position supports Prestige Extreme Machining & Manufacturing’s facility and manufacturing operations. The technician maintains and repairs building systems and facility equipment, helping keep the workplace safe, clean, productive, and operating with minimal facility-related disruption.

What you'll do

• Perform general and preventive maintenance
• troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
• maintain building components, utilities, overhead doors, and dock equipment
• complete basic welding or fabrication as needed
• respond to maintenance requests
• document repairs
• coordinate specialized contractor work
• and follow safety policies and applicable codes.
