Reading Specialist – After-School Literacy

The Reading Specialist role is onsite in Pinellas Park, FL, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., for 15 hours per week. Pay is $31 per hour. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay mission is to prepare youth and young adults for success in school, work, and life. The specialist implements literacy programming, uses reading research and assessment data to identify learning gaps, and plans explicit small-group instruction. The role supports Club members’ literacy development and collaborates with educational program leaders and Club staff.
