Electrical Maintenance Technician — 2nd Shift

The Electrical Maintenance Technician — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Syracuse, IN, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. plus overtime. Starting pay is $30 per hour, with an additional 8% second-shift premium. POLYWOOD makes outdoor furniture using recycled-plastic lumber. This technician maintains equipment and facilities to support safe, reliable production. The work includes troubleshooting electrical controls and industrial systems, completing preventive maintenance, and addressing equipment failures to reduce downtime.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, mechanical and pneumatic systems
• troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial power systems
• identify root causes of failures
• perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• repair CNC machinery, motors and related equipment
• interpret schematics and control drawings
• follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures
• support equipment improvements and off-shift operations.
