Civil/DOT Estimator

What you'll do

• Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents
• perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for earthwork, utilities, structures, concrete, and water/wastewater systems
• prepare bids
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• collaborate with operations on methods, crews, and production rates
• attend pre-bid meetings and site visits
• support post-award buyout and handoff
• support DBE/MBE/WBE participation and compliance
• and improve estimating practices using HeavyBid, historical cost data, and production tracking.
