What you'll do

• Review requisitions and create purchase orders
• communicate with suppliers about orders, production, and availability
• follow up on new items and purchase orders
• assist with product transitions, supplier issues, and invoice, pricing, and cost discrepancies
• maintain purchasing information and reports
• update shipping schedules
• monitor shipments, back orders, and delivery dates
• coordinate shipping documents with suppliers and freight forwarders
• support vendor returns and maintain related records.
