What you'll do

• Performs periodic quality assurance
• Performs cytology related support functions such as accessioning and processing of specimens, staining and mounting of non-gynecological specimens
• Maintains the cytology slide file
• Screens and evaluates non-gynecological cytology specimens
• Assists specimen collection procedures such as fine needle aspiration
• Performs Rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE)
• Communicates significant findings and urgent results promptly to the pathologist or clinician.
