Laboratory Coordinator / Phlebotomist

The Laboratory Coordinator / Phlebotomist role is onsite in Maitland, FL, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. Alcanza Clinical Research conducts multi-site, multi-phase clinical studies across several therapeutic areas. The coordinator performs assigned laboratory procedures and specimen handling in compliance with study requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations. The role supports accurate trial execution through specimen processing, inventory readiness, training, and required documentation.

What you'll do

• Draw and process specimens according to trial requirements
• assist with specimen shipments and proper shipping methods
• monitor expiration dates on equipment and supplies
• receive and store lab supplies
• maintain general and study-specific inventory
• transport samples
• mentor new hires
• complete and renew CITI GCP and IATA training as required
• attend SIVs when needed and complete sponsor-required lab training
• may support recruitment, EDC, and QA/chart review
• maintain compliance with SOPs, FDA/HIPAA regulations, informed consent documentation, and GCP guidelines.
