What you'll do

• Manage schedules for assigned projects
• work constructively with authors
• copyedit and/or proofread titles as time allows using Chicago Manual of Style, 18th edition, and house guides
• hire freelance editors and proofreaders and review their work
• work with the Managing Editor on project budgets
• coordinate across departments
• participate in editorial meetings
• and help refine editorial procedures and standards.
