Through preventive maintenance, staff leadership, vendor and project oversight, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, the role supports resident satisfaction and reliable community operations.

What you'll do

• Manage daily maintenance and facility operations
• develop and execute a preventive maintenance program
• supervise, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff and, where applicable, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation teams
• oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire panels, and emergency response systems
• manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and capital projects
• monitor budgets and expenses
• inspect apartments before new resident occupancy
• support renovations and refurbishments
• monitor regulatory compliance
• participate in safety and disaster-preparedness planning
• respond to after-hours emergencies and provide on-call support
• foster a resident-centered service culture.
