CNC Machinist

Job overview

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Southbridge, MA, with pay of $24–$33 per hour. The position supports production of precision components for defense, aerospace, and electronics industries. The machinist programs, sets up, and operates CNC and conventional equipment to produce parts to specification, while inspecting quality and resolving machining issues to support reliable production.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC and other machine shop equipment
• read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• perform tool changes, offsets, and compensations
• select programs and complete basic setups
• inspect parts with measurement tools and gauges
• troubleshoot machining and process issues
• support new product development
• complete production documentation and ERP transactions
• maintain a safe, organized work area.
