CT Technician — Night Shift

The CT Technician — Night Shift role is onsite in Los Alamos, NM. The base salary is $60,000–$80,000 per year. The position performs CT and radiographic imaging to support patient care. The technician prepares and positions patients, performs imaging examinations, and helps ensure patient safety and image quality. What you'll do

• Review patient history and physician orders
• explain procedures and prepare patients
• perform CT and radiographic examinations
• administer contrast media or medications within scope when ordered
• monitor patients
• maintain equipment and supplies
• follow safety and quality-control standards
• troubleshoot and report equipment issues
• review images and repeat scans when necessary
• and enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Why this role

Schedules may be 5x8s or 4x10s, with typical shifts of 11 p.m.–9 a.m., midnight–8 a.m., or 11 p.m.–7 a.m.; some flexibility is available. Required credentials include a New Mexico Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT Radiography and CT certifications or registries, and BLS certification upon hire.
