The Relationship Banker role is onsite across Great Lakes Credit Union’s Country Club Hills, IL branch and a Branch in a Box location. Compensation is $20.48–$30.73 per hour; the anticipated hiring range is $20.48–$25.60 per hour based on qualifications and experience. The role supports GLCU’s relationships with assigned partner organizations and their employees. The banker provides convenient access to credit union membership, accounts, transactions, financial guidance, and services. Through member service, outreach, account opening, and referrals, the role supports member relationships and the credit union’s branch and business-development goals.

What you'll do

• Staff assigned Branch in a Box locations
• build relationships with partner-organization employees and leaders
• support outreach and financial wellness activities
• explain membership eligibility and benefits
• open and maintain memberships and deposit accounts in accordance with policy
• understand member needs and recommend products or make referrals
• perform authorized member transactions
• follow cash-handling, security, compliance, and internal-control procedures
• resolve inquiries and concerns
• support branch operations, outbound calling, lead follow-up, and community outreach
• track outreach, memberships, referrals, and appointments
• travel between assigned branches, partner sites, and events.
