The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Investigator role is onsite in Jena, LA, with pay stated at $23.05 per hour. The position supports The GEO Group’s facility investigations and compliance work within its correctional and community reentry services. The investigator conducts assigned PREA-related investigations, processes potential crime scenes, gathers and evaluates information, and prepares reports under applicable standards. The role coordinates with facility and corporate compliance personnel and participates in incident and after-action reviews.

What you'll do

• Conduct assigned PREA investigations
• respond to and process potential crime scenes
• interview and research to establish event facts
• prepare investigative reports using PREA standards
• recommend appropriate action
• coordinate with contract compliance, facility personnel, the corporate PREA team, and OPR
• participate in sexual abuse incident and after-action reviews.
