Bobtail Driver

Job overview

The Bobtail Driver role is onsite in Lake, MI, with compensation of $24–$28 per hour. The position delivers propane to customer locations and includes loading and unloading product and completing related paperwork. The role exists to deliver propane safely and efficiently while meeting customer needs and complying with Department of Transportation and company safety requirements. The driver contributes by completing assigned routes, maintaining the truck, and promptly reporting customer issues, spills, leaks, incidents, and vehicle problems.

What you'll do

• Deliver propane as instructed
• load and unload product and complete paperwork
• comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• perform truck checks and general maintenance
• complete pre-trip and post-trip procedures
• provide courteous customer service
• report customer issues, spills, leaks, incidents, accidents, injuries, fines, and vehicle problems
• clean the truck and cab daily.
