The Phlebotomist (PRN) role is onsite in Mount Carmel, IL. Compensation is $21 per hour. The phlebotomist collects blood and other specimens and performs waived testing and related department tasks. Accurate collection and handling support patient services and the hospital’s laboratory operations.

What you'll do

• Collect venous and capillary blood specimens, urine and timed urine specimens, and DOT and non-DOT drug-test specimens
• plate culture specimens to appropriate media
• perform waived testing
• answer phones and fax reports
• maintain a professional disposition with patients and customers.
