Oracle Security Consultant — Federal Financial Systems

The Oracle Security Consultant role is onsite at client facilities in the Washington, DC metro area, with occasional travel to other client locations. Compensation is not specified. The consultant supports a federal agency’s Oracle Fusion Cloud financial management modernization program. The consultant leads security architecture, access design, and controls for the Oracle Fusion Cloud solution. This work helps protect the agency’s financial system and supports audit requirements and the Authority to Operate process through releases and configuration changes.

What you'll do

• Design Oracle Fusion Cloud security architecture
• define role-based access control strategy and job, duty, and data roles
• develop security matrices and access-control models
• design segregation-of-duties controls
• support identity and access management integrations
• define security requirements for Fusion, OIC, and PaaS components
• support security assessments, audits, ATO documentation, and remediation
• coordinate with cybersecurity, functional, and technical teams
• maintain effective controls through releases and configuration changes
• use AI tools to accelerate analysis and documentation and mentor junior colleagues in safe AI use.
