The ADON supports the Director of Nursing at The Villas at Bryn Mawr, part of Monarch Healthcare Management’s skilled nursing and assisted living network. The role supports high-quality resident care by helping direct staff and serving as acting Director of Nursing in the director’s absence. It also strengthens staff development, infection prevention, occupational health, safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Support the Director of Nursing in directing licensed and non-licensed staff
• serve as acting DON in the director’s absence
• oversee occupational health and staff development functions
• conduct surveillance and maintain records
• evaluate incident reports and provide data and recommendations to committees
• coordinate orientation, training, competency evaluations, preceptorships, and in-house education
• support safety programs and policy development
• assist with resident and family engagement
• provide nursing care when needed
• support compliance and quality improvement.
