Senior Scientist — HTS-NGS Team

The Senior Scientist role is hybrid in Cambridge, MA, with a base salary of $160,000–$180,000 per year; the stated range excludes annual bonus and equity. Korro Bio develops genetic medicines using its proprietary RNA editing platform. This role leads the HTS-NGS team supporting the oligonucleotide platform and portfolio projects. It combines scientific and people leadership with hands-on assay and sequencing workflow development to advance identification of RNA-editing therapeutics and deliver against company milestones.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor scientists conducting in vitro biological screening and NGS characterization
• set priorities and coordinate workloads
• design and optimize molecular biology and NGS workflows, including amplicon-seq and RNA-seq
• maintain high-throughput cell assays in 96- and 384-well formats
• qualify automated liquid-handling workflows
• oversee QC instrumentation use and data integrity
• collaborate with Chemistry, Data Science, and Biology
• champion LIMS adoption and data quality standards using Benchling.
