What you'll do

• Prepare meals according to menus, dietary restrictions, standardized recipes, and food-safety standards
• handle and store food according to facility procedures and regulations
• maintain food alternates for resident choices
• supervise culinary staff when the Chef or Certified Dietary Manager is absent
• maintain clean and safe equipment and workspaces
• inspect trays and report menu acceptance findings
• assist with inspection preparation and attend assigned training.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of institutional food-service cook experience are preferred. ServSafe certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
