MEP Technician — Modular Home Production

Job overview

The MEP Technician — Modular Home Production role is onsite in Sprakers, NY, and pays $20–$30 per hour. The technician supports Bill Lake Modular Homes' indoor modular home production operation. The role installs, tests, troubleshoots, and inspects mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems during home construction. It helps ensure completed homes meet approved plans, applicable codes, and company quality standards while coordinating work with other production teams.

What you'll do

• Install and assemble HVAC components, ductwork, and related mechanical systems
• install electrical components and assist with panels and circuits under appropriate supervision
• install plumbing piping, fixtures, and appliances
• perform basic system testing and troubleshooting
• read blueprints and MEP drawings
• coordinate with production teams
• complete punch lists and quality inspections
• follow safety procedures and use required PPE
• and maintain organized tools and work areas. Full-time, indoor production-based work
• candidates may bring experience in one trade and learn additional disciplines.
