What you'll do
- Under the direction of a Chaplain Supervisor, the Chaplain Resident provides pastoral services M-F with 8-hour-per-day accountability to the dually accredited CPE program.
- Serves in a 24-7 rotation of Duty Chaplain and participates in rotation of on-call responsibilities.
- Uses CPE to increase competence as a service provider demonstrating incrementally the satiation of CPE’s specific objectives and outcomes for the type of training engaged.
- Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other departments and staff, including community clergy, to meet the religious, sacerdotal, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Provides formal support services as ministry, including those standardized by the departments, e.g.: spirituality groups, new admit visits, code response, notarizing advance medical directives, member of the interdisciplinary team, and serves in a variety of other specialized ways which supports the mission of HCA.

- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required from ATS accredited Seminary, Divinity, or Rabbinic School, or equivalent graduate and post-graduate studies.
- Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years, post-seminary pastoral experience or significant, commendable experience in a process authorized ecclesiastically that required sustained, pastoral activity
