The Radiology Technologist (RT) role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, with pay of $23 per hour. The position supports Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio, an orthopedic sports medicine physician practice. The technologist prepares patients and performs X-rays requested by physicians, following patient-care and safety procedures. The role also maintains imaging records and supplies, enters charges, and supports clinical duties when time allows or when assigned, helping the practice deliver diagnostic and clinical services.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
• operate radiographic equipment and take X-rays as requested by physicians
• position patients
• follow patient safety and infection control procedures
• maintain patient records, logbooks, and reports
• enter X-ray and casting charges
• scan medical records
• maintain radiographic supplies
• assist with ordering and resupply of medical and office supplies
• perform or assist with clinical duties when time allows or when assigned.
