Job overview

The Pastor of Care role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; compensation is not specified. The Care Department provides pastoral support to the church community and advances the church’s vision of helping people find and follow Jesus.

What you'll do

• Provide pastoral care to church members, families, and staff
• develop processes that equip staff to provide care
• co-lead the Deacon Ministry, support and train deacons, and teach annual New Officers Training
• teach classes and Bible studies, offer spiritual guidance and counseling, help lead worship, officiate life events, visit parishioners in hospitals and homes, and serve as Pastor on Call during assigned weeks.
