What you'll do

• Clean and prepare work areas
• assist with asphalt, pavement maintenance, and roadwork
• prepare, place, spread, and finish asphalt
• use hand and basic power tools
• assist with crack sealing, pavement repair, and surface preparation
• support melter and kettle operations
• measure, mark, cut, and prepare pavement
• assist with excavation, trenching, grading, filling, and compaction
• handle conduit, cables, and materials
• maintain tools and equipment
• clean sites
• assist with traffic control and follow safety procedures.
