Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Hamilton, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and rotating Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.; compensation is not specified. Pinnacle Treatment Centers provides addiction treatment services and works to remove barriers to recovery. The assistant supports intake and routine clinical and administrative services, helping patients receive timely care and follow-up. The role contributes to treatment coordination through testing, records, appointments, referrals, and communication with the care team.

What you'll do

• Support the intake team
• obtain lab work and urine drug screens
• observe, test, and package urine samples
• administer Mantoux skin testing and medications
• schedule physician appointments and coordinate lab work and referrals
• maintain patient records
• order medical supplies
• assist with prenatal-care education and outside-service coordination for pregnant patients.
