The Bilingual Patient Advocate role is onsite at the Kind Clinic in Austin, TX. The starting rate is $24.30 per hour. The advocate helps patients understand care options and navigate insurance, medical care, and supportive services. The role supports access, engagement, and continuity of care through patient guidance, outreach, resource linkage, and clinic program operations.

What you'll do

• Conduct intake and assessments for HIV care, PrEP/PEP, and gender-affirming care
• provide brief individual and group interventions
• offer sexual health education and counseling
• assist with insurance and benefits navigation and appointment scheduling
• identify psychosocial barriers and link patients to services
• monitor access, adherence, and retention
• collect and analyze program data
• liaise with local agencies
• support quality improvement
• maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
