The Postpartum Doula / Newborn Care Specialist provides onsite in-home care in Bloomington, MN and the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Pay is $35–$40 per hour. North Star Newborns provides newborn and postpartum care intended to support babies and families. The role supports families during the postpartum period through newborn care, guidance for birthing parents, and education on infant care. It helps parents feel informed and supported while caring for their newborns and navigating recovery.

What you'll do

• Provide in-home care consistently at least three days or overnights per week
• provide newborn feeding, diapering, and soothing
• support birthing-parent recovery with guidance on physical and emotional well-being
• educate families on infant care, sleep routines, and feeding techniques
• offer emotional support, active listening, and practical advice
• create a nurturing environment. Requires Minnesota residency, relevant certification or equivalent clinical experience, an online assessment, and 3+ years of postpartum and/or newborn care experience.
