The adjuster investigates non-attorney soft tissue bodily injury claims and related auto physical damage exposures, making coverage and liability decisions, evaluating damages, negotiating settlements, and documenting compliant claim outcomes. The role also collaborates with members, vendors, and internal partners and participates in catastrophe response operations.

What you'll do

• Adjust non-attorney soft tissue bodily injury claims and related auto physical damage exposures
• confirm coverage and make decisions under policy terms and state regulations
• investigate losses, determine liability, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and adjudicate claims within assigned authority
• document claim activity
• communicate claim steps and timelines to members
• collaborate with internal teams and vendors
• participate in catastrophe response, including mandatory on-call periods and possible evening, weekend, or holiday work
• and support catastrophe deployment travel with minimal notice.
