Maintenance Mechanic — Night Shift

The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Rochester, MN. The stated night-shift pay range is $31.43–$37.38 per hour, including the $0.75 night differential. The regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; the evaluation period is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. The role supports a frozen-food repackaging and cold-storage operation. The mechanic helps keep packaging lines and related equipment safe, reliable, and productive through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This work supports packaging and cold-storage operations, with weekend work possible based on production needs.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and support equipment
• troubleshoot mechanical failures
• repair, replace, and rebuild motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, drives, and related systems
• support equipment reliability on packaging lines
• assist with maintenance in production and cold-storage areas
• follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and safe-work practices
• complete maintenance documentation
• communicate equipment issues and repair updates
• help maintain a clean and safe production environment.
