What you'll do
- Set up and operate a Heald ID grinder
- grind diameters, faces, and bores to .0001 tolerances
- interpret blueprints, MOTs, sketches, and verbal instructions
- select grinding wheels, speeds, and feeds
- use shop math and GD&T
- inspect work with air gauges, dial bores, micrometers, indicators, calipers, and layout tools
- operate other grinding equipment as required.
