What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• perform quantity take-offs and field evaluations as needed
• prepare labor, material, and equipment estimates
• develop and submit bids and follow up
• solicit, evaluate, and negotiate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• coordinate estimates with operations and project management
• support cost tracking, change orders, and budget alignment
• analyze risks and historical project outcomes
• track estimated versus actual costs
• maintain knowledge of ODOT specifications, roadway standards, and safety requirements.
