What you'll do

• Prepare foods using standardized recipes and kitchen equipment
• assemble trays for general and modified diets according to tray tickets and diet plans
• estimate food requirements and maintain production records
• take food temperatures and ensure proper cooking
• label and store food safely
• clean work areas and equipment
• provide feedback on recipes and food service quality. Requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of cook experience, and current active food certification.

Why this role

Day shift with two listed schedules: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM. Every other weekend is required. Cook experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
